A mini series following Christopher Powell a 15 year old from Brooklyn who grew up with an abusive drunk as a father who he constantly got into fights with He had to take care of their younger twin brothers with his sister He was a certified genius at the age of seven One day he went through his moms old things and found a pink crystal in a box from work she worked for damage control and kept it with him A few days later he got into a brawl with his father to protect Chris Grace shot their dad he then ran before the cops arrived but was mistaken for someone else and got kidnapped He was taken to Philippe Bazin who ran an underground fighting ring for powered teenagers Chris was mistaken for someone else who has powers and was taken on mistake even though he was normal he was still forced to fight He started off with a couple of short swords being his only weapon, but as time went on he got upgradesThe crystal he took from his moms things began to give him visions of a warrior in a dark blue and silver suit with the crystal in his chest He got used to the visions and used them to reconstruct the suit to use in fights So he convinced Philippe to let him make it so that more people would watch He used the suit for three years in the ring being forced to kill other innocent teenagers in order to survive One day the fight was against a 13 year old He could not go through with it and let her win- but when he was about to die the crystal gave him the power to escape
