nathanbates I added some characters that expand on @batsonjacksont ‘s Dracula’s Daughter pick. I like that all these characters suggest different styles and tones of horror. Some epic in scope, others more intimate. With the Zaleska storyline, I thought I’d suggest a slow burn with a Cronenberg-ian psychosexual spin. Vampirism presented like a disease. See also: Tony Scott’s The Hunger.

ringothedrummer Mosiah's story: Mosiah was born to one of the royal assistants of The Pharaoh. At such a young age, Mosiah was admired for his strength and fighting skills. At the age of 27, Mosiah became the leader of the Medjay. But, one day, a foreign group from Romania invaded Egypt. This group was known as the Order of the Dragon. Mosiah and the Medjay fought against the Order, but eventually, Mosiah came face to face with the Order's leader. He went by many names, but Mosiah only knew him as...Dracula. The two fought for a long while, and eventually Mosiah lost. But, Dracula spared his life. After the attack, the Pharaoh punished Mosiah and had him mummified alive. Thus, he never got his revenge........until now

- castingsinmyblood @batsonjacksont millennia later, with the unearthing of Ahmanet and her siding with the Order, the Medjay are in a race to find the tomb of Mosiah. He's the only one powerful enough to stand against her

nathanbates Some backstory to the character I added: Dr. Thesiger is named after the actor that played Pretorius in Bride of Frankenstein. The character starts out as the Igor/Karl/Fritz in the modern era. Adam’s assistant / caretaker. Over time he’s become obsessed with the original Frankenstein experiment and has studied Adam enough that he feels ready to duplicate it himself. He takes on aspects of Pretorius’ role in the 1935 film. Elsa (obvious name allusion) is a young writer and casual acquaintance of Adam and Frederic’s who, unsuspectingly, has been picked out by Thesiger as the ideal test subject. Her initial disappearance and later suspected death can lead Shelly to Adam that works as a story beat for you guys.
