Synopsis

Once again, the Fire fades. As no one was worthy of linking it, the old Lords of Fire have been awakened from their death as Lords of Cinder, but only one of the five Lords has agreed to link the Fire again. Beings of Ash that don't even deserve to die have been awakened to make the Lords go to their thrones again. One of them defeats Iudex Gundyr, the Undead Judge. This Champion of Ash is given the task of making the Lords go back to their thrones. If they don't want to sit on their thrones again, maybe their corpses will.
