For over 15 years, attorney Matt Murdock has been protecting Hell’s Kitchen as the vigilante Daredevil. However, as the years wore on, especially after K-Day (the events of “JLA VS. Godzilla”), he became more cynical and jaded, and his body has taken quite a beating. Then one night, he runs into a boy named Ray Conner, wearing a version of Matt’s original Daredevil suit and being trained by Matt’s old mentor, Stick. With the years wearing on him physically and mentally, Matt is cold to the idea of anyone following him, even as he finds himself slipping into the abyss.
