Daisy Hopps is an 18-year-old orphan who loves ballet, following in the footsteps of her mother, who was also a ballerina. She and her friends, Astrid and Bloom, travel to France to compete in the "Ballerina Dancer 2026" contest—hosted in the country—hoping that Daisy will become a successful ballerina and outshine her rival, Tiffany, a popular and spoiled dancer. In the end, Daisy is adopted by a French couple: a ballet teacher and the TV host who runs the show.
