Synopsis

A group of seamen embark on a journey to a mythical island. However along the way they get tangled up in a horrible storm, which unearths the world’s greatest creature, Cthulhu. While he’s not seen much in the film, his presence is peppered throughout the movie. He not only gets inside their heads, making them turn and kill each other. But by the end of the film, Cthulhu finally rises from the ocean, and traps the crew in a repeating time loop.

Description of Captain Bellard:

Bellard starts the film as a great captain loyal to his crew. However once Cthulhu’s influence starts to infect the crew, Bellard suffers the most. Bellard is completely overwhelmed by anxiety and madness, which causes him to become a danger to the crew.
