A team of scientists lead an expedition into the Amazon rainforest upon discovering fossil remains of a new species of a creature that resembles a humanoid fish. Finding that their camp was wrecked, they decide to search in the Amazon's Black Lagoon. Unknown to them, the creature of their search lives in the Black Lagoon and is stalking the team upon their arrival.
