Based on the scrapped project of the same name that would end up becoming the 1933 King Kong. This is also technically a revival of the canceled 1931 project, Creation, which was supposed to be a follow-up/sequel to Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World. This is also a modern take on its story, characters, and dinosaurs, taking influences and inspirations from Legendary Pictures' Monsterverse.read more
