Synopsis

The Edo Era has ended after 260 years of history and the Meiji Era begins. However, bitter strife still continues between the soldiers of the new government and former Tokugawa retainers. New equipment and weaponry come into play, fighting for honor is no longer deemed important, and resolve is not enough to win battles. This is the time when new alliances are formed, foes become friends, friends get lost, and the surviving members of the Shinsengumi find themselves upon their return to Edo following their defeat at Toba-Fushimi. Each member of the Shinsengumi has their own motivations, struggles, and backstories, yet they are bound together by their common mission and loyalty to the Bakufu. As the series progresses, new losses awaits.

  • theonewithda_gun So after like two years, i finally made a fancast of this manga again. Stopped during season 2 because the manga is still ongoing at the time. And even though it ended in 2023, i was unable to continue further due to how hard it is finding the new chapters. But now that i finally found the new chapters of the manga, i'm planning on continuing this. Now for the other Comic Zenon mangas: Record of Ragnarok is still ongoing (Okita vs Susano'o), Jack The Ripper spinoff is still ongoing, the Gods Apocalypse spinoff is still ongoing and new, and Majo Taisen is ongoing as well. So maybe it'll take time for me to make stories about them, at least after the mangas are released (and ofc if we got a Ragnarok season 3 anime)
