Children of Blood and Bone is a YA fantasy set in Orïsha, a fictionalized pre-colonial West-African kingdom(Yoruba Land) where magic was erased 11 years prior by King Saran in an event known as the Raid. The story follows Zélie Adebola, a divîner (a person with unrealized magical potential), who joins forces with Princess Amari and her brother Tzain to restore magic to their people.
