    And like I'm thinking what the movie might look like and I'm no screenwriter but I think the way it makes the most sense is to tell the story from the different perspectives showing multiple versions of the same event.

    @arnaumartinsaura like Niemann is at home watching Carlsen win the WC and decides to cheat in an online game. Or Carlsen is meeting Rensch to sell his company and plot against Niemann.

    So anyway my lunatic theory on this is that Emma Stone is signed to play the lead, and there were no women at the center of this story, so by default, I think she's supposed to play Carlsen, which would be hilarious

    Nathan should play one of the GMs. If Emma aint playing Carlsen, then Austin Butler. And somebody unknown for Niemann.

    I'm seeing the trailer from here: we open on the game in question, and they shake hands. Then you start hearing and seeing the video reactions from Gotham, Hikaru, the Botez, Danny Rensch... all building up with crazier and crazier things to say, until they bring up like clips of the Late Show talking about anal beads and the Elon Musk tweet. Then it cuts back to the game and you see Niemann adjusting himself sitting on the chair. Cut to: CHECKMATE
