The musical film is based on the 1964 children's novel by Roald Dahl, on the 2013 West End, and on the 2017 Broadway version. Story - Charlie Bucket is a poor boy, who finds one of the wanted "golden tickets" that entitle him to a lifetime shipment of Wonka Chocolates, in addition to being able to visit the mysterious chocolate factory. He and four other children stroll through the place, but Willy Wonka, the factory owner, is not a nice person but a manipulative figure.
