Dr. Jeremiah Danvers (died 2020) was a scientist, the husband of Eliza Danvers, the father of Alex Danvers, and the adoptive father of Kara Danvers. While seemingly dead for 12 years, he was in reality made an unwilling member of Project Cadmus.
