because sorting is FUN / This is for characters that can speak Languages *other* than the one spoken in the majority of the work they come from - for example, a character from a Japanese anime is specifically stated to be able to speak English. Don't just spam a language with characters from every single work made in that country, lol. This is also not for nationality - there are other lists for that, only add someone if they are able to speak the language. You are welcome to add languages.read more

The Kaingang language (also spelled Kaingáng) is a Southern Jê language (Jê, Macro-Jê) spoken by the Kaingang people of southern Brazil. The Kaingang nation has about 30,000 people, and about 60–65% speak the language. Most also speak Portuguese.
