Francis Dolarhyde is a fictional character and the main antagonist of Thomas Harris’ 1981 Novel Red Dragon as well as its film adaptations ManHunter (1986) and Red Dragon (2002). He also appeared in the series Hannibal (2013-2015). Dolarhyde is a serial killer who murders entire families by methods of gunshots, throat cutting and strangulation.
