First appeared in Taskmaster #3 in 2021 and was created by Jed MacKay and Alessandro Vitti. Tae-Won was a thief who was born during the Korean War and gained superpowers while attempting to steal the Psylot Gem. He later became Taegukgi and the leader of the South Korean government-backed superhero team Tiger Division.
