A Ruckersville Tragedy
Director David Lynch tackles the brutal coming-of-age story of Chris Chandler, a Virginian stuck with rage while pursuing fleeting internet lovers. Falling into constant depressive episodes, Chris remedies feelings by spending money on exclusively toys, junk food, and video games while living with Barbara Chandler - the film's unusual and angry mother of the protagonist. Together, the two must navigate Barb's husband Bob's sudden death, relentless internet trolls, and eventually, leaving delusions behind and coming to reality.
