Fan Casting Denji in Chainsaw Man: Chapter I

Originally living in poverty, Denji’s only way of getting around in life was living off his father’s debts from the Yakuza. He befriends a chainsaw-dog like creature named Pochita, whom he considered his only friend. The two find themselves cornered by zombies, and as Denji laid dying, Pochita fused with him, now becoming one being named the Chainsaw Man. In 1996, Denji is recruited by a young woman named Makima into the Public Safety Devil Hunters.
