The twin brother of Solid Snake and a clone of Big Boss, a legendary war criminal. Liquid hates Big Boss for making him feel inferior, and hates Snake for killing Big Boss, denying him revenge. Liquid launches a terrorist attack on a middle base on Shadow Moses Island. This base houses Metal Gear REX, a bipedal nuclear tank which Liquid intends to use for finishing Big Boss’ dream of a perfect haven for soldiers. FOXDIE, a programmed virus would end up being Liquids undoing. Liquid is cocky, smug and very cunning. Despite believing he was inferior, it is later revealed that he is the superior twin.
