Infinite was Eggman's ultimate weapon against Sonic, and he succeeded too. With Sonic finally out of the way, Eggman quickly took over the world. Even before fusing with the Phantom Ruby, the main source of his power, Infinite was an aggressive and arrogant character. His newfound power gave him a more calm yet menacing manner. He despises being outclassed by anyone, and because of this, he has a hatred of Shadow the Hedgehog. Eventually, he couldn't control his powers anymore and disappeared.
