Talented but arrogant rookie, Lightning McQueen is desperate to win the Dinoco 400 Piston Cup and take the place of famous, seven-time champion Strip "The King" Weathers. However, his selfishness and inability to work with others gets in the way of his dream. Yet, when he winds up in a quaint, rundown town, called Radiator Springs, he learns to befriend many of the residents, help the small, struggling community and work along a Piston Cup champion.
