A hypothetical adaptation of the Stephen King novel, which would follow the book more closely than previous versions. The story follows Carrie White, a teenager with telekinetic powers who’s abused at home and bullied at school, and finally snaps in a horrific way when she’s humiliated at the prom. This version I have in mind would retain plot elements from the book more so than the film versions we have now, including the the memoir Sue Snell writes and the scene between Carrie and Sue at the end.read more

Description of Ralph White:

Ralph is Carrie’s deceased father. He was every bit as demented as his wife, Margaret. Despite being dead, in the book he was a significant figure in Carrie’s backstory, so an adaptation like this would probably feature some flashback scenes with him.
