Synopsis

On June 2019 a ship bearing 42 migrants called Sea Watch 3 and led by German Captain Carola Rackete was stopped near the Italian coast, after refusing asylum from Libya. Italian Minister of Interior Matteo Salvini, known for his anti-immigration stances, was firmly contrary. When the ship docked, as requested by Human Right Associations, Rackete was arrested and judged with a trial. She won the cause, and later sued Salvini himself for defamation. This is supposed to be a Rai series. I have to admit that I haven't watched many and that I didn't like the ones I watched, but perhaps this could be better than the average.

Italian then-Vice President (now Minister of Foreign Affairs) besides Salvini, from "Movimento Cinque Stelle" ("Five Stars Movement") party, a centrist organization. He expressed is solidarity towards Rackete.
