A rewritten version of MCU Captain Marvel that honors Monica Rambeau and her place as the actual first female Captain Marvel. Set between Civil War and Infinity War. A Kree object called the moonstone suddenly activates while being experimented on by S.W.O.R.D. scientists. Agent Monica Rambeau gets blasted by the stone, gaining electromagnetic abilities. Drawn to Earth by the stone's awakening, Kree and Skrull forces soon arrive to obtain it, threatening to turn Earth into a battleground. Together with her friend Carol Danvers and the Kree alien Mar-Vell, Monica fights to defend Earth from both empires.
