Captain Comet is a 2026 superhero film featuring the DC Comics hero of the same name. It is the twenty-third film in the DCEU and the first film of Phase 4. It was released on March 6, 2026. Jerry and Melanie Blake have a son named Adam, and on the same night he was born, a comet passes by their house. He is then imbued with strange powers and becomes a man out of time. Adam grows up very isolated from everyone else, having a vast intellect and array of powers that he must hide from the world. He eventually goes through school, pretending everything is okay, when he graduates and becomes a librarian. He eventually meets Emery Zackro and through him, Adam beings to truly figure out who he is and how he can help the world.
