Happy 4th of July & happy birthday, Captain America!
Today is not only the 4th of July, but it's also Steve Rogers a.k.a Captain America's birthday! Steve's friends in the Avengers & S.H.I.E.L.D. secretly organize a birthday celebration for him. Cap is reluctant to be the center of attention, believing the holiday should honor the people who built and continue to defend America rather than himself. Before the celebration can start, Red Skull & Hydra launch a coordinated attack on Washington, D.C., hoping to turn America's biggest celebration into its darkest day. With fireworks lighting the sky and thousands of innocent civilians in danger, Captain America rallies the Avengers and several longtime allies to protect the nation's capital.
