Three years had passed with Cordis Die's collapse. When the world's government struggled to pick up the pieces from the aftermath of Raul Menendez's attacks, Johnathon Irons and the Atlas Corporation were there to pick up the pieces and give people hope. Staff Sergeant Jack Mitchell, recently discharged from the military after losing his arm, is recruited into the private military corporation. (Takes place after Black Ops 2)
