Bruce goes undercover to investigate a spate of disappearances amongst Gotham's homeless, but is ambushed. His kidnappers not only leave him with amnesia, but imprisoned in a chain gang mining camp. Whilst he attempts to recover his memory, Alfred, using the Batwing, attempts to track him down when he realizes he is trouble and needs his other 'suit'.
