Despite years of acting as the Vigilante, Bruce Wayne has found himself disoriented since the day Jason Todd died. Acting more impulsively and aggressively since then, he has become a stranger to his own allies. But when his head becomes the latest target for someone as cunning as he is lethal, as part of a dangerous game of chess that rages all around him, Batman will have to work on his own redemption if he wants to avoid the same ending repeating itself again.
