Set in the year 2170, Jackson Carlyle is the personification of a spoiled prodigy child. His parents own one of the biggest companies in the world, and made much of their money from building technologically advanced weapons for the government. When he was in his mid 20s, he was invited to his father’s weapons laboratory, where his father and his team of scientists was developing a serum that when injected, gives a person superpowers based on their genetic makeup. Description of The Illusionist:

A complete enigma, there is very little known about the origins of The Illusionist. A theatrical man with a god-like view of himself, he walks with a combined aura of menace of elegance. He's also quite terrifying, as his mask obscures his face, making it impossible to tell what emotion his has. He speaks very elegantly, with dialogue littered with purple pros. He is also very intelligent, yet clearly insane to some measure. His superpower is that of mind-manipulation, allowing him to not just control minds, but make people hallucinate, suffer seizures, or even temporarily blind.
