Single mother Lisa Decker drops off her young daughter, Julie for her first day of kindergarten. She watches on as Julie is befriended by two girls, Kayla and Sam. Kayla's Mitchell and Sam's father Hunter introduce themselves and become close friends after seeing the bond between their children.
