    Would kill to see this movie done under Wētā FX. A animated/live action hybrid. Real sets and props with the chatacters done by one of the best visual effects studios in the business.

    Would definitely love to see Wētā FX get involved. Their tech is leagues above a lot of other studios so they can definitely squeeze out every bit of emotion from the actors motion captures. I occasionally go back to their work on Tintin expecting it to look worse than what I remember but I'm always in awe with how incredible that film still looks after over a decade. I'd would've advocated for traditional 2D animation but feel that it'd be much harder attempt to match the incredible artstyle and watercolors from the books. As opposed to simply just give homage the types of movies they are inspired by (Like the orginal Nightmare Alley and Chinatown, Etc) in a blend of Live Action set design and animated characters.
