After the death of her mother, T’Chakia, T’Challia has become the Queen of Wakanda, and returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take her rightful place as Queen. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T'Challia's mettle as Queen and Black Panther is tested when she is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Arms-dealer Ursulla Klaue, who is well-aware of Wakanda's secrets and is determined to make a profit with the aid of the megalomaniac, Erika Killmonger.
