The Half-life prequel
A 3-season prequel to the original Half Life, showing the events that led up to the resonance cascade which set the events of the series forward. Some ideas include: -Gordon Freeman isn't introduced until season 2 -4 of the main characters are based on the 4 default scientist models from HL1 (With 2 of them being Kleiner and Vance of course) -JK Simmons reprises his role as Cave Johnson, seeing as Portal is part of the same universe -The Gman makes an appearance, first in an end of season 1 cliffhanger before being fully introduced in season 2
