Story Plot

In this mini series taking place in between Age Of Apocalypse Pt. 1 & 2 we meet a young mutant named Lucas Bishop who was born into a perilous world where Charles Xavier has been murdered, humans & mutant extremists are at war and Sentinels preside over North America. This show will follow his early days with the X.S.E, up until his fated decision to travel back in time to stop this dark future from ever happening in the first place.

    In the series finale, Bishop is finally able to hunt down Trevor. In a last ditch effort Trevor offers to send Bishop back in time so that he can fix things, but Bishop sees through it and kills Trevor for his sister. Seemingly out of options, Lucas decides to try and commit suicide in a moment of despair only to be interrupted by yet another incomprehensible psionic message (to which he's had a number of throughout the series). He visits his ailing grandmother who uses her telepathic abilities to decipher the messages and comes to the shocking conclusion that her dimension hopping father is still alive & has been trying to communicate with Bishop. Bishop then goes to seek out his grandfather who refers to him as "The Final Piece" and demands to send him "where he's meant to be". After a tearful goodbye to his grandmother, Lucas accepts and gets sent to an unkown time.
