In January 14, 1963, George Wallace (Leonardo DiCaprio) is in the inaugural address is in the oath of office for the civil rights movement. Two months later, Wallace meets Martin Luther King, Jr. about Birmingham campaign against by the city Commissioner of Public Safety, Eugene "Bull" Connor (Gary Sinise), is taking King in jail and King is bringing the Letter from Birmingham Jail. Before, Connor gets the police dogs and the water hoses to the people on march to 16th Street Church. When the White House, President John F. Kennedy (Topher Grace) helps for the civil rights in Alabama. King is made in speech, "I Have a Dream", in Washington, D.C., at the Lincoln Memorial.
