In 1965, Elisabeth (Betty) met her future husband, Dan Broderick (1944–1989), at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana and quickly fell in love and after kids. He became abusive and he cheated on Betty with Linda Kolkena. And made life miserable until she couldn't take it anymore, and in 1989 one 911 call would change everything
