Story Plot

It is the 28th Century. Humankind has forged civilization among the stars. Across light years of known space called the Inner Sphere, humanity unites under the banner of the Star League by their conquest of the stars. That conquest is fueled by a great new weapon: The BattleMech, a metal titan standing between 20-30ft tall and bristling with enough firepower to level a city block. For 300 years, the Cameron Family sat at the head of the Star League as they led humanity into a cultural and technological golden age. Five Great Houses stand as member states alongside the Star League. It is 2870 and the cracks are beginning to show. Rebellion in the wild Periphery of the Inner Sphere and bubbling discontent among the Great Houses build a powder keg that will send the Inner Sphere into a whirlwind of chaos and destruction like never seen before.
