The forces of the Cylon Union that destroyed the Twelve Colonies of Kobol are approaching the brink of collapse after the loss of both the Imperious Leader and Count Baltar in the Battle of the Gehenna Maelstrom which resulted in the creation of the Anastasis Planet and the tragic sacrifice of Admiral Adama's daughter-in-law Serina.
