Similar to Ice Cube, Needle is a relatively quiet and vengeful character. She is also known for a running gag that her behaviour will immediately become irritable whenever the word “needy” is used directly toward her as a nickname. She will slap anyone who says the word, sometimes when it isn't even directed at her. Needle can otherwise be personalized as a loyal, helpful, reliable, and friendly contestant. In the seasons she plays in, Needle consistently helps her teammates and those whom she considers friends. This can be reinforced in “Respect to the Wicked,” where Needle decides to play for two teams during a challenge. In contrast to those that Needle considers contestants that have not treated her right, Needle may take actions to cause problems for those, such as lying, working with other contestants, or slapping said contestants. Needle is also athletic, being a fast runner and being capable of returning to her normal stance after being in the form of having a bent body. There is no canonical specification why Needle has said as to why she dislikes being called "needy", but it's likely because the word needy is used to either describe someone in poverty or someone incredibly demanding and dependent to the point of obnoxiousness. Despite this, though, she has no issues with calling others names they don't like, such as when she called Puffball "puffy" as a way to threaten her to help her team during BFDIA.
