    • siddarthsid @batsonjacksont At least, it's refreshing to see someone cast Dafoe as any character other than the Joker in a Batman story.

    • nathanbates @siddarthsid yeah, could have been really interesting. I wonder if looks aside, he’d be a more traditional choice than Michael Keaton. Burton and Jon Peters had some wacky casting ideas. According to Robert Wuhl, Steve Martin was Burton’s 2nd choice. Ray Liotta might have passed on one or all three of Batman, Joker and Harvey Dent.
