Synopsis

Batman is carrying on with his endless war against crime. Everything seems to occur as usual, until a new vigiante called the Red Hood comes to Gotham, and seems that both of them have something in common.

Description of Catherine Todd (Jason Todd's adoptive mother):

She only appears in flashbacks and mentions. Apparently she died of an overdose as a result of long-term drug abuse. She was a good parent to Jason while his father was working for Two-Face, but it wasn't enough to save her. Now, her death serves as motivation for Jason to control drugs in Crime Alley and destroy as many as he can to prevent others from falling into the same fate as her.
