After defeating Ultrawoman and Parasyte alongside Superman, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, and the Flash, Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson now find themselves tangled up in a mystery that they must uncover. Pamela Isley, one of the most prominent doctors at Arkham Asylum, has gone missing in the event of a most recent riot at the prison that also resulted in the death of Police Commissioner Harvey Bullock. Along with Pamela's disappearance, Bruce discovers that both Slade Wilson and Thomas Elliott are also missing. During the final battle, because of accidentally inhaling the toxins from Poison Ivy's roses, Bruce begins to see Rose Wilson, his long-lost love, in Pamela Isley's place. And despite knowing it's a hallucination, he can't bring himself to fight back until Selina Kyle forces him to think past what he is seeing and focus only on the three villains they are battling at the moment.
