It’s been six months since the Blackgate riots and Gotham, for the first time in decades, has slightly been looking up. The city is still heavily influenced by crimelords and corrupt politicians, such as Carmine Falcone and Sal Maroni, who have recently joined forces to take down Fish Mooney and her gang, as well as exterminate their shared Bat problem. However, the presence of the Batman has brought hope to some citizens, despite many still questioning the vigilante’s motives and place in Gotham.
