During the battle between Batman and Joker, while Harley Quinn and the mercenaries Joker hired terrorize Gotham City, Bruce begins to question how Arthur survived losing his jaw to Deathstroke one year ago, and Arthur explained that he had a backup plan in case that happened, and once Bruce asks how long he was a psychopath for, Fleck says he always this way, before asking Batman if he remembered the night he and Rose Wilson were supposed to get married. Not only does Bruce realize in this moment that Arthur knows he's Batman, but was the one who murdered Rose all along, which sends him spiraling out of control in the climax of the battle.
