In the year 2040, a retired Bruce Wayne begins to live his peaceful life as an elderly gentleman after giving up crime fighting. However his life changes when he meets Terry McGinnis, a high school senior, who would discover the Batcave. Now an elderly Bruce Wayne must reluctantly help Terry as he begins his journey as the Batman of his era. At the same time several enemies from the past and his future return as well.
