Fan Casting Batman Beyond (2045)

Many, many years into the future, Bruce Wayne is retired as Batman and is living a happy life with Selina Wayne, his wife. However, one day she is killed in an assassination attempt meant for Bruce, and he becomes even gruffer and lonelier. But with this, he has a revelation that the world needs Batman once again. So, he takes a young man named Terry McGinnis under his wing to be the next Batman. Through his relationship with Terry, he learns his compassionate and more human side once again.
