The year is 2040. Gotham is a technologically advanced haven of crime. Batman has been gone for over 20 years. Some tried to take the mantle as protector of Gotham, but no one came close. Dick Grayson has been missing for years. Tim Drake is retired and living a quiet life. Barbara Gordon is the commissioner of the G.C.P.D. Bruce Wayne is a recluse. The villains of Gotham are faded, old, dead. A new wave of criminals plague the city.
