Synopsis

Batman: Arkham Asylum is set wholly on the grounds of the Elizabeth Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane, better known as Arkham Asylum. The asylum is located on a remote island in the Gotham Bay, a strategic necessity given its reputation for housing violent, incurable psychotics.

Description of Steve (Guard):

As Batman passed a phone, it started ringing, and a female relation of Steve (possibly his wife or girlfriend) called to check whether Steve was alright. The Joker answered the call a few seconds later and claimed that he could only find Steve's head, while he said 'I'll contact you when I find the rest of him!', and ended the call with his usual maniacal laughter. Steve tried to reach the extraction system on the other side of the room so he could activate the ventilation system in order to filter the deadly gas out of the room, but was forced to abandon his mission and seek safety instead, scaling a ladder leading to a small utility ledge above.
