By 20, she teams up with Cassandra Cain to uncover Mayor Talia al Ghul’s corruption and confronts Killer Moth, emerging as Batgirl. After a dramatic rescue by Batman and Catwoman, a tense Batcave confrontation leads to her training under Batman’s strict guidance. The story culminates with Gordon’s proud yet fearful acknowledgment of her dual life, knowing both Batman and Batgirl’s identities, only to face a city-wide lockdown ordered by Talia in a post-credit news broadcast, leaving him terrified as Gotham turns against its vigilantes.
